Acting Career¶
Access via Work → Acting Career. Anyone can start — no fame or skill required. As fame grows, studios approach you directly. Agents take a cut but bring better offers.
Note
Acting only becomes your occupation once it has actually paid you. Until then your day job stays your primary income.

On Set & Promotion¶
- View Project — while filming, meet your co-stars and put in extra work (rehearse, bond, method acting) to raise the film's performance.
- On-set dilemmas — filming throws up choices (a terrible line, a difficult co-star, a risky stunt) that shape how the film turns out.
- Fame appearances — interviews, talk shows, charity galas and red carpets appear occasionally (at most once every ~2 years).
- Award nominations — a film that wraps as a Hit or Blockbuster can earn an award-show nomination.
Tip
An agent pays for itself at Lead Role level. At Blockbuster, the commission on $5M is $750k — worth it for the access.
