  • Private health insurance can be bought yourself; if your job also provides cover, the best of the two applies. Insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions — buy it before you get sick.
  • Illnesses can progress if untreated, lowering your odds of a cure. Treatment odds are shown as words (Excellent / Good / Fair / Long odds) rather than exact percentages.
  • Under-18s get free checkups, vaccines and treatment (covered by parents).

Item value

Memorabilia is individually appraised — your fame, a hall-of-fame induction, chart peaks and the item's age all move the price. A legend's old world-title belt is worth a fortune; last week's plaque is not.

The Documents screen collects the official records you earn over a lifetime — driving licence, First Aid and diving certificates, university diplomas, and other credentials. It's a read-only record of what you've qualified for.

Estate Planning

Write a will via Misc → Will & Estate Planning (18+). It splits your estate between partner, children and charity. Without a will, intestacy rules apply: the partner gets the majority and children split the rest. Businesses are sold by the executor, and retained IPO shares and all physical items pass to your heir.

You can also favour one child in the will. It's tempting — but the other children resent the golden child, and whoever carries on the bloodline inherits that rift: a snubbed sibling begins their life already holding a grudge against the heir. An even split keeps the family at peace.
